Let's Recap
|
"QUESTION LED LEARNING: First we proved that transforming how students respond to questions with video improves learning. Now we aim to transform how the education community manages and responds to student questions to enable curiosity-fueled learning for everyone."
|
WeVideo
|
VIDEO CREATION FOR ALL: Advanced video editing features made easy through a simple interface. You don’t need to be a pro to create great movies.
EDIT EVERYWHERE: Start projects on one device and pick up where you left off on another. Works on any Mac or PC computer browser, Chromebook, iOS, and Android device. FULL CREATIVE CONTROL: Use your imagination, not automation. You’re in complete control with text, transitions, motion effects, green screen and much more! |
Explain Everything
|
Teachers are using Explain Everything for both live and video-based instructional delivery. They prepare materials in advance or start from a blank canvas. Teachers also create projects and activity templates that are shared with students to work and build upon.
Students are creating rich artifacts of understanding with Explain Everything. Screencasts and other content created with Explain Everything become multimedia representations that can capture both the process and product of a learning experience. Students are creating tutorials, animations, and presentations — sharing ideas and becoming “teachers” themselves. They are working with project activities, collaborating in real-time, and sharing and publishing their work. |
Soundtrap
|
LEARNING FOR TODAY: Soundtrap is an online learning tool that enables teachers to follow the STEAM curriculum through music and podcasts. It fosters a collaborative environment in which students develop their creative and communication skills.

Google Keep
|
Like to use Reminders on your phone? I've completely switched to Google Keep. Google Keep allows you to make notes, store photo reminders, create lists, and share any of those things with other Google accounts. It's very useful for work and personal tasks. Share work notes with a team member or share a grocery list with your spouse. It is accessible through an app on your phone or through a browser at keep.google.com.

CamScanner
Ever wished you had digital copies of your paper files? There's an app for that! It's called CamScanner and it's available for Apple and Android devices. Use your device to take a picture of any kind of paper: worksheets, conference notes, receipts, lesson plans, etc. CamScanner allows you to scale the picture, so you only see the paper part you want. Then it optimizes the image, so you get impressively clear, readable results. Another benefit is that it uses the space in your CamScanner account, not your device. You can save the files in your CamScanner account (premium features available to teachers for free) or BETTER YET upload it straight to your Google Drive. Other sharing options: email and fax.

Imagine the possibilities:
- Scan your paper files to digital so you have to keep less
- Student was absent? Email them a digital copy or share on Google
- Keep all of your teacher receipts digital for tax purposes
- Keep track of recertification documentation
- Students can scan copies so they don't lose paper
